Philanthropy

Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.

We remain dedicated to three aspects of philanthropy: sisters helping sisters through Tri Delta’s Foundation, our commitment to changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer through our work with local and regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer initiatives and through our national partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Tri Delta Place

As part of our continued commitment to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, our Alumnae Chapter-along with Kathy Barrere, Marcia Barrere, Fran Galey, Nancy Hyde, Nancy Lundell, Lea Morris, Jeanne Pahucki, Lacey Robbins, Kim Scales and Kim Uhing-donated a total of $1500.00 to purchase a naming brick on the Pathway to Hope at the St. Jude campus. A picture of our brick is shown.

If a patient will be on the St. Jude campus for seven days or less, they will be offered a room at the Tri Delta Place based upon availability. This facility provides comfortable, fun and patient-safe housing that includes 64 hotel-style rooms and 36 suites. Tri Delta Place is the only housing facility on the St. Jude campus.

Standard rooms feature wireless internet access, two queen-sized beds, televisions, DVD players, radios and refrigerators. Suites include all amenities in the standard rooms plus a sitting area, dining table and microwave. Each floor is equipped with free laundry facilities.

Tri Delta has committed to raising $60 million in 10 years to name the short-term patient housing facility at St. Jude, Tri Delta Place!
